Pet Food Assistance
Kibble Connection provides pet food assistance to help people keep their dogs and cats
The Kibble Connection food pantry provides essential pet food assistance to help individuals keep their animals at home, where they belong. We collect donations from the public, corporations, and foundations and distribute pet food and supplies to families in need. Our weekly distributions primarily serve households in systemically underserved areas of Baltimore City and County. Through a partnership with Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland, we also provide pet food to homebound and disabled senior citizens.
Kibble Connection operates by appointment only. Hours of operation are the first four Saturdays and the last Wednesday of each month. If a month includes a fifth Saturday, the pantry will be closed on that day. Community members may visit Kibble Connection up to six times per calendar year.
Your appointment reserves food for your enrolled pets, so there is no need to arrive early. If you have a scheduled appointment, your food will be available during your assigned pick-up window. If you are unable to attend your appointment, please arrange for a trusted individual to pick up your food on your behalf.
The number of pets enrolled at the time of acceptance into Kibble Connection establishes a household’s enrollment. Participants may not add additional pets to their Kibble Connection enrollment after acceptance into the program, regardless of how the additional pet was acquired, including through adoption, rescue, purchase, transfer from another individual, or by taking in a found animal.
Because Kibble Connection relies on donated food, we are unable to accommodate special brand requests. The food distributed through the program will vary based on available inventory.
Once food and supplies have been picked up, the Maryland SPCA assumes no responsibility for those items and is unable to provide replacements. All food, supplies, and other items provided through Kibble Connection are intended solely for the care of your enrolled pets. The resale of any items received from the Maryland SPCA is strictly prohibited. The Maryland SPCA maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding the resale of program items, and any participant found reselling these items will be immediately removed from the Kibble Connection program.
We are committed to creating a respectful, welcoming environment for all community members, staff, and volunteers. The Maryland SPCA reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who is verbally abusive, threatening, or confrontational toward staff, volunteers, or other community members.
