Pet food assistance

We provide pet food assistance to families struggling economically. Dog and cat owners can apply to receive dry and wet food once monthly.

Veterinary assistance

With funding from PetSmart Charities, the MD SPCA’s PAW Plus program provides free veterinary clinics to under-resourced neighborhoods. Pets receive free exams, vaccines and medications, microchips, flea and tick preventives, and more.

Temporary emergency foster

When disasters destroy people’s homes, we provide temporary pet housing while they rebuild their lives.

Keeping families whole

See how our assistance programs keep pets in loving homes.

I am so happy that I was sent this way today. They gave him free medicine and the vet took care of him, put a microchip in him. I just want to thank everybody that helped out for the good job they did.
