Walter

Sweet old Walter was found running into the street in Baltimore City on a chilly January day.

A passerby scooped up the blind, severely matted little dog and came straight to the MD SPCA.

With cataracts, blindness, matted fur, a heart murmur, and dental disease, Walter was given lots of TLC from MD SPCA vet staff and his foster family. He felt so much better after his dental surgery and gently grooming.

It took a couple weeks, but Walter’s perfect adopter finally sniffed him out and couldn’t wait to bring him home. The adopter reached out right away to let the MD SPCA adoption, exam, and foster family know he was settled in and doing great!
