Cindi came into the MD SPCA in July 2021.
In addition to being very sweet, we noticed Cindi has a very short spine. It’s due to a rare condition called Short Spine Syndrome, a genetic deformity that gives her the appearance of having no neck. But it didn’t bother her one bit.
This bouncing goofball was looking for a family who could spend lots of time snuggling and playing! She also needed someone who could work with her on her leash manners. She often confused “walk time” with “tug time.” Our staff found the perfect adopter to give Cindi everything she needed and now she’s politely walking in her forever home.
The adopter recently wrote: “Everything is coming along just great. She’s a good girl and great pet.”
Thanks to sponsors like Foundry 19, we can afford to give pets like Cindi the housing, care, and training they need until the perfect fit comes along.
