Novi

Novi is a loving, intelligent girl. But after months at our shelter, she grew nervous and over-stimulated.

Our behavior team spent hours every day with her. They did agility work, showered her with affection, and provided enrichment.

Novi’s big breakthrough came when we put her in a playgroup. She met a dog named Berger. They played every day, blowing off steam.

Eventually, Berger was adopted. Novi found a home, too.

Less than a month later, Novi was returned. She seemed sad and withdrawn, like she missed her friend.

Then one day, Berger’s adopters came to the shelter, asking about Novi. They fell in love with Berger’s playmate, making Novi’s adoption official the same day.

Novi is doing great!” her adopters report. “She is so sweet and definitely is a cuddle bug. She sleeps right next to me every night! Berger and her are having a blast. They are always playing, and they just love each other. It’s so sweet and cute!

“I’m so glad I adopted her and brought her and Berger back together. I wouldn’t want it any other way.”
