On a chilly day in mid-October, a passerby found Sebastian curiously poking his head out of a handbag in front of a Baltimore City police station.
He was all alone and just six weeks old. They acted quickly, getting this lonely kitten to the MD SPCA.
He was clean and healthy, but very hungry. Weighing 1.2 pounds, Sebastian was sent to foster to gain the necessary weight for neuter surgery.
As a single kitten with no one to play with, Sebastian became wild and rude. Many kittens growing up without other kittens don’t learn bite inhibition. They also become bored and restless. Fortunately, his foster mom has a secret weapon: her cat Paddington. At first, Paddington was no match for Sebastian’s antics. But his patience paid off. Eventually, Sebastian began to mimic his behavior.
After his neuter surgery, Sebastian the wild child was ready for adoption. His handsome face attracted an adopter with plenty of patience and time to play. Congratulations, Sebastian!
