When Raisin arrived at the MD SPCA, staff noticed bleeding mammary masses.
She had postulates on her skin and discharge coming from her eyes. Raisin also had a severe underbite with hair stuck in her teeth and gums. Our vet team gently cleaned her teeth and ears.
Her skin folds and loose skin were causing dermatitis, a major risk to Raisin’s health. She needed surgery to reduce this risk and improve her skin health for the rest of her life.
Our all-star surgery team fixed her skin fold issue, removed her mammary masses, and completed a deep ear cleaning. Then sweet Raisin recovered in a loving foster home. They gave her medication and TLC for two weeks, when a recheck revealed Raisin had recovered beautifully!
This precious pup was quickly adopted and is now living her happily ever after. Way to go, Raisin!
