At the Maryland SPCA, we are proud to have the support of so many wonderful volunteers. Our dedicated volunteers make a commitment to help our organization by touching the lives of both pets and people every day. Their decision to put their concern for animal welfare into action by offering to donate time is such an important asset to the MD SPCA. We have many opportunities for volunteers at the MD SPCA, including our Foster Care program.
Please Note: SPCA volunteers must be 17 years of age or older, even if a parent can volunteer too.
We are always in need of volunteers to help out in the following areas:
If you are interested in volunteering at the Maryland SPCA, you can begin the application process by completing a volunteer application. The questions asked in the application are designed to ensure that your volunteer experience is positive for both you and the animals.
After you have filled out the application, fax (410-235-3173), mail (3300 Falls Road, Baltimore, MD 21211) or email it to Katie Flory, Volunteer Manager. If you have any questions, please email Katie or call her at 410-235-8826, ext. 137. After receiving your application, Katie will contact you to arrange an orientation meeting to discuss your volunteer interests and the MD SPCA’s opportunities.
