Our 2009 Pet Calendar
The 2009 Pet Calendar is now available for half price. Purchase the calendar online for $7 plus tax, shipping and handling. Go to our online calendar order page.
The calendar is being sold at The Maryland SPCA, 3300 Falls Road, Baltimore, MD 21211. On weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., go to our Headquarters House (yellow house at the top of the driveway). On Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 3:30 p.m., go to our adoption center (blue building).
Several local retailers also are selling the calendar, including DMS Salon in Ellicott City, Dogma, Greetings & Readings in Hunt Valley, Graul's, Howl, In Watermelon Sugar, Mille Fleurs, Mt. Washington Wine Company, Pretentious Pooch in Mt. Vernon, Sporting Life and The Ivy Bookstore.
Our 2009 edition is a sleek, colorful wall calendar featuring pictures of dogs, cats and other animals submitted by animal lovers. The deadline for submission of photos was June 2. Thank you to everyone who submitted a pet photo and paid the $35 entry fee. We received over 400 fabulous pictures! Each submitted photo appears in the calendar, and the entry fee covers the cost of one calendar. From the pool of entered pictures, we selected some of the most captivating high-resolution photos to feature on the cover and as Pets-of-the-Month.
