Many pet owners cannot afford the cost of spaying or neutering their cats through local veterinarians. The Maryland SPCA's Fix-Able program makes it easier for those on a fixed income to spay or neuter their cats and obtain wellness care.

*There is an additional fee of $20 for a cryptorchid neuter.
Cat owners who qualify for Fix-Able are individuals earning less than $25,000 annually or households earning $42,000 or less a year. Proof of income is required and can be based on last year's income tax form, Social Security Disability, all W-2 forms for the family, Section 8, Free Lunch, Food Stamps, VA Disability, AFDC, WIC or Pay Stub.
