The 13th Annual March for the Animals was held at Druid Hill Park on Sunday, April 20, 2008. The March is our largest fundraiser—a 1.5 mile walk-a-thon for people and pets benefiting The Maryland SPCA. The March for the Animals is a fun-filled day of great activities, contests, demonstrations and entertainment. This year we raised $375,000 despite the pouring rain. Thank you to everyone who participated!
| Julie Barber | $8,600 |
| Jennifer Romano | $5,192 |

*Usually we only have one Top Pack prize, but this year The Governor's Office very kindly donated the Governor's Box for a second Oriole's game so two teams could see a game.
The 4th-grade girls and their two homeroom teachers at Roland Park Country School formed two packs for the March for the Animals: Meech's Paw Prints and Sandberg's Little Paws. They raised $1,285.67 for the March through bake sales and doing chores at home. In addition, they collected sponges, peanut butter, chicken broth, towels, dish soap and laundry detergent for two months and donated it to The Maryland SPCA for use in the adoption center.
We appreciate the work of our talented photographers: Bob Stockfield, Jessie Green and James Tabor. Below are some photos from each of the photographers. Click on any photo to see an enlarged version. A slideshow of the images also is available.
