The Maryland SPCA understands the emotional challenges involved in deciding to put your pet to sleep and acknowledges that it can be a financial burden to do so. Therefore, the SPCA offers owner-requested euthanasia for $35 per pet for cats and exotic animals and $45 per dog. The fee helps cover the cost of the service and is meant to help lower-income people afford quality care and support during a difficult time. Hours

Monday and Tuesday: 12:30 p.m.—5:00 p.m.
Wednesday thru Friday: 10:00 a.m.—3:30 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 10:00 a.m.—2:00 p.m.

Private Cremation

The Maryland SPCA offers pet cremation services to the public. If you need to have a pet cremated, please contact us at 410-235-8826. The fees for cremation are based on the weight of the animal.
